Caffeine & Roses is a place for people that feel too overwhelmed, overworked, or stressed out for travel, to help them get organized and plan their next adventure.

Travelers like you.

Life is busy. You’re juggling your day job, your side hustle, your social life, and your family. Some days it feels like you can barely find a moment for yourself, let alone all of the time it can take to plan a vacation.

I want you to confidently travel the world by having fun organizing your next trip. I want you to arrive at your destination knowing that you have the time and funds to relax, unplug, and fully enjoy yourself.

My two loves in life are travel and spreadsheets

And my husband. And Oreos. So, I guess that’s four loves.

World Traveler

I’ve been long distance traveling since before I could walk. When I was in elementary school, my family took our first international trip on a cruise and the international travel bug bit – hard. I haven’t stayed in the same place for more than 6 months since. I’ve traveled to over 20 countries (and counting!) and planned every type of trip – including girls weekends in Vegas, business trips, honeymoons, family trips, visa runs, and backpacking across Europe. I’ve found the perfect hotel or attraction so often that even my travel-loving parents have requested my expertise in planning the perfect trip.

I believe in traveling well on a budget. My idea of roughing it is a hotel without room service, but I’m no stranger to the hostel circuit. I love Disney parks and beaches, but I’ll go out of my way to make it to an ancient historical site or off-the-beaten-path restaurant.

Spreadsheet Lover

In my previous life, I worked for an international logistics company doing quality analysis. This is just a really fancy way of saying I’m an expert in Excel and I know every trick in the book about working with airlines.

I have spreadsheets for just about everything. I get excited about making graphs and tables. I’m a huge nerd, I know. I had spreadsheets for planning my wedding, I have them for budgeting, I have them for life goals and 5-year plans, and when my husband and I suddenly had 2 months to prepare to move from DC to Taiwan, you can bet I had spreadsheets for that. If I don’t have a spreadsheet for it, you can bet I’ve got it organized in Google calendar or another app.

This means I’ve already mastered most every organizational strategy, so you’ll get options on getting organized for your next trip with field-tested templates.

I’ve found a way to spreadsheet, template, gamify, or checklist every aspect of traveling. I’ve tested the tools, strategies, and products. I know how they work and who they work for.
